Privacy policy
What we do with the details you send us, and what you can ask us to do with them.
Who we are
Redhill Aerials & Satellites, Bletchingley Road, Redhill, Surrey RH1 4HW. We fit and repair TV aerials, satellite dishes, CCTV, Wi-Fi and Starlink. If you have a question about your information, call 01737 321341 or send a message on WhatsApp.
What we collect
Only what you give us to arrange and carry out a job: your name, phone number, the address where the work is, the details of the problem, and any photos or videos you send of your aerial, dish, cameras or screen. If we invoice a business, we also keep the business name and billing address.
The website itself has no forms that store your details. The booking buttons open WhatsApp or your phone with a message ready to send, so nothing reaches us until you press send.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, give advice and arrange a visit.
- To do the work, and to come back to it if something needs looking at again.
- To take payment and keep the business records the law asks us to keep.
The legal basis is that you asked us to quote for or carry out work (a contract, or the steps before one), and our legal duty to keep tax records. We don’t use your details for marketing, and we never sell or rent them.
Who else sees it
Messages sent on WhatsApp pass through WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under its own privacy policy. If you pay by card, the payment is handled by our card payment provider under its own terms. We may share records with our accountant or HMRC where the law requires it. Nobody else.
Website statistics
We count visits with Clicky, which records things like the pages viewed, the type of device and a rough location, so we can see which pages are useful. Our cookie policy has the details.
How long we keep it
Job details and photos are kept while they are useful for the work and any follow-up visit. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires, which is usually six years. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don’t need to keep it by law. You can also object to how we use it. Call or message us and we’ll sort it out.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page. Last updated November 2026.
